ALLISON'S STORY
When Allison was 9 years old, she found a white rabbit in the woods next to her home. It was such an Alice-in-wonderland moment, without the falling down the hole thing. The rabbit, named Thumper, lived with Allison and her family until he mysteriously hopped away when Allison turned 11. That was such a Lassie moment, without the dog thing. For a time after he left, Allison started to draw the rabbit, in an attempt to bring him back to her. He never returned, but so began a love affair with drawing and all things creative. It waxed and waned over the years as all affairs do, but Allison never forgot that rabbit. The rabbit who taught her to draw.BIGPRINT LITTLE
Bigprint Little was created by Allison Langton, a Textile Design professional who graduated with distinction from RMIT in 2000 (BA Textile Design) and has since worked with companies such as John Sands Australia, Imajri design studio, Linen House, ACP magazines and Rodale.She regularly Illustrates the garden plans, maps and other little bits for Australian House & Garden magazine.
Specialising in textile design and surface pattern for homewares, Allison has been freelancing since 2004. She can assist you with original textile designs in repeat, colourways, storyboards, Illustration and any other textile and pattern related design brief.
